Paper Trading Help

Learn how to use PaperTrading with virtual SOL limits and trading rules.

Paper Trading Limits

Total SOL Balance

You start with 10 SOL for paper trading. This is your total budget across all tokens.

Per-Token Limit

You can spend a maximum of 5 SOL on any single token. This prevents over-concentration in one position.

How Paper Trading Works
1

Start Trading

You begin with 10 SOL in your paper trading account.

2

Buy Tokens

Spend SOL to buy tokens, but never more than 5 SOL per token or your total balance.

3

Track Performance

Monitor your portfolio and see how your trades perform over time.

4

Reset When Done

When you run out of SOL, connect a new wallet to start fresh with 10 SOL.

Trading Rules & Restrictions

No Real Money

This is paper trading only. No real SOL is spent or received.

Balance Tracking

Your SOL balance decreases when buying and increases when selling tokens.

Per-Token Spending

You cannot spend more than 5 SOL on any single token, even if you have more balance.

Wallet Reset

When you run out of SOL, disconnect and connect a new wallet to get 10 fresh SOL.

Example Trading Scenarios

Scenario 1: Normal Trading

Start with 10 SOL → Buy 3 SOL of Token A → Buy 2 SOL of Token B → Remaining: 5 SOL (can still buy more tokens)

Scenario 2: Per-Token Limit

Start with 10 SOL → Buy 5 SOL of Token A → Try to buy more Token A → Blocked! (Already spent 5 SOL on this token)

Scenario 3: Out of Balance

Start with 10 SOL → Spend all 10 SOL → Try to buy more → Blocked! (No SOL remaining - need to connect new wallet)
